Decorative patterns of lacquerware in the Warring States period were widely used, which can be divided into four categories: (1) describing social real life, including chariots and horses, hunting, singing and dancing, feasting and architecture. (2) There are immortal, half-man, half-beast and Yunlong patterns. (3) Following the traditional bronze ornamentation, there are dragons and phoenixes, deformed bird patterns and deformed inscriptions. (4) What are the children's patterns, such as moire, Yun Leiwen, diamond, triangle, broken line and string. Most animal-shaped organs are combined with sculpture and painting. The pattern organization is flexible and regular, which is suitable for rotating and scattered patterns. The continuous patterns on both sides are repeated, alternated and interspersed. The continuous patterns in four directions are mostly irregular cloud patterns. The contrast between red and black is often used to form puns, which are full of lively rhythm and show colorful effects in simplicity.
