Tianya Haijiao Tourist Area, located in Tianya District, Sanya City, with Maling Mountain as its back and facing the vast sea, is the first tourist attraction in Hainan in the 20 years since the establishment of the province, and also the first tourist brand in Hainan in the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China. There are hundreds of stones standing on the beach of the scenic bay, among which Tianya Stone, Haijiao Stone, Riyue Stone and Nantianyizhu are the most prominent.

There are hundreds of stones standing on the beach in the bay, among which "Tianya Stone", "Cape Stone", "Riyue Stone" and "Nantianyizhu" stand out from the crowd, holding their heads high and imposing. Hundreds of thunder stones stand on the bays and beaches of Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area, and there are many stone carvings on them.

In the fifty-third year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (17 14), Miao Caotang, an imperial envoy, toured the frontier and inscribed the words "The sea judges the south sky", which is the earliest stone carving in the ends of the earth. Opposite the stone carving, there is a cone-shaped boulder about 7 meters high, which is particularly prominent on the sea. It is a famous landscape of "Southern Tianyi Column", and the four characters of "Southern Tianyi Column" were inscribed by Fan Yunti in the Yuan Dynasty (1909) of Qing Dynasty.
