Does the balloon laminar flow experiment have to use black tape?
Black tape must be used in balloon laminar flow experiment.

The state of fluid flow can be divided into laminar flow and turbulent flow because of its viscosity. Liquid particles move in an orderly way and do not mix with each other. This is called laminar flow. Turbulence is a form in which liquid particles move irregularly, mix with each other, and their trajectories are tortuous and chaotic. This experiment uses a bigger and thicker balloon (I used a 18 inch extra-thick balloon), which can hold more water and facilitate long-term observation. Fill the balloon with water, then stick it with PVC electrical tape, leaving a small area in the middle, put the balloon on the stool, and then puncture the balloon in the middle area of the tape with a sharp knife. You can see the laminar flow of water, feel the water freeze and stop flowing, as if time is still. In the later balloon experiment, the middle hole failed and became turbulent, but it was in sharp contrast with the other three laminar flows and was more intuitive.
