Taizhou Middle School in Jiangsu Province was founded on the former site of 1902 where Hu Yuan, a famous educator in Song Dynasty, gave lectures. The school has a long history, profound cultural heritage and excellent school-running tradition, and is known as "a Millennium University, a century-old prestigious school". The school has won more than 40 honorary titles at or above the provincial level, such as National Civilized Unit, National Civilized Campus, National Advanced Collective of Education System and Jiangsu Model School. In 20 19, the school became the first batch of high-quality demonstration high schools in Jiangsu province. Since its establishment, the school has moved three times and moved twice.
