Step 1: cut the arch.
Our bird feeder will be in the shape of a friendly owl, and draw an arc on the bottom of each side of the carton with a pen. Cut out the arches as shown in the figure, and keep one of the cut arches to make the beak of the owl.
Step 2: Install the house bracket (insert pencil)
Poke a few holes under the bow with the end of the safety saw, and then insert a pencil. When birds eat from the feeder, they can perch on these pencils.
Step 3: Build a platform
Cut your plastic container cover in half, poke a hole in one side, and then install a hinge (similar to the hinge on the door). You need to lock the hinge at 90 degrees.
Next, open a hole in the side of the carton and connect the other half hinges to form a solid wing, so that the two sides are the same.
Step 4: Install owl (bird's nest) eyes.
In order to create the owl's eyes, first, put the plastic nail through the plastic bottle cap, then through the cake lid (or paper cup), and then through the carton, create a simple beak from the arched incision and fix it under the eye with the plastic nail.
Step 5: Insert characters to complete
Insert two plastic nails on both sides of the top of the carton and tie a rope on them, so that the bird feeder can be hung outside.
