First, the flowering period
Lavender usually blooms in May-10, with a long flowering period. Among them, June is the flowering period of plants, when lavender bloom is the most beautiful, with the brightest color and high ornamental value. June is the best viewing time.
Second, the maintenance of flowering period
1. Reduce water quantity
Lavender needs little water during flowering, so water should be reduced. The next time you water the pot, you should wait until the soil is dry before watering it. If the pot soil is too wet, it is easy to produce root rot, which is not conducive to plant flowering and will shorten the flowering period.
Cooling in the shade
Lavender likes to grow in cool and semi-cool places. It is best to control the curing temperature at 15-25℃. When the temperature is high, it needs to be cooled in time, and when the temperature is low, it needs to be cold and warm. Lavender blooms in summer, when the temperature is high and the light is strong, so it needs shade to prevent flowers from wilting.
3. Appropriate fertilization
Lavender has a high demand for fertilizer, especially in full bloom. Plants consume too much nutrients and need to replenish fertilizer in time. Foliage fertilizer can be sprayed on the leaves of plants and diluted before use to avoid fertilizer damage.
