The process of painting:

It doesn't matter where the appearance begins. It is important to determine the position of the five senses accurately, and don't rush to outline the details. If the position is wrong, the details are useless.

You can see that I used a lot of auxiliary lines in the picture. These auxiliary lines are the magic weapon that makes me draw very similar. It is very important for you to learn to use auxiliary lines to determine the position of your body.

After the position is determined accurately, we can determine the shape in detail from a certain part and tick the line to do some details. It is worth noting that the pencil must be sharpened when marking lines and describing details, otherwise it will be very tired and the effect will be poor.

Eraser pen is a good tool here, which can make the details depicted by pencil softer and more real.

After the facial features are initially portrayed, you can consider coloring. First, we can draw the dark side with a pencil.

The paper used by He Laoshi this time is gray, which can be directly used as the natural color of skin. Then we just need to emphasize the shadow part and highlight the bright part.

Use different types of pencils when it is heavier. This painting is the most used in 2B and the most difficult in 6H, so I won't say what kind of pencil is used here. This is of little significance, and it is not conducive to improving everyone's hand-drawing ability. It's actually quite simple. The higher the H number, the harder the pencil and the lighter the color. The bigger the number of b, the softer the pencil and the heavier the color. Just pick up a pencil, experiment according to the color we observed, and choose a pencil with the right thickness. White oily colored lead is used for brightening, and water-soluble lead is also acceptable.

The process of coloring is not done overnight. You need to constantly increase or decrease the color according to your own observation, and arrange the heaviest and brightest color of the picture to ensure that the picture has a high enough contrast and will not be very gray.

Now this picture feels beautiful as a whole and can be finished directly, but I want to strengthen the texture of the skin again.

The process of texturing in the later stage is actually a process of constant adjustment until the picture is adjusted to the state you want. It seems that there is no discipline in the east and the west, but it is actually written from a holistic perspective. Modeling, the layout of black, white and gray, fiction and fact's sense of space and whether the color transition is harmonious need to be considered one by one.

Here I will focus on how the texture of the skin is made: first, we must ensure that the transition is uniform and soft, and wipe it with a paper pen or paper towel to make the graphite evenly covered on the paper. Second, the gray level of the inherent color, that is, the gray part, should be consistent with the gray level of the real skin. Third, feel some pores and spots properly, plus some small heavy colors and some small highlights, so as to make good skin.

In short, we must be patient, especially in the process of shaping and final adjustment. We can't work miracles here.

Give you a chance to draw from scratch, or you will get old if you don't catch it.
