Rafters in wood truss
It is a roof truss with rafters closely arranged, and Fink truss is commonly used. Joints are bonded with toothed plates or structural plywood. The common span is 6-9 meters. Because of the high stiffness of the joint, when the height-span ratio is H/L≥ 1/7, it is not necessary to check the deflection. The distance between rafters is generally 60 cm, and the roof panel is directly laid on it, which simplifies the roof system and saves about 30% wood compared with the general wooden roof. It can be used in civil houses and small industrial workshops.
