Wenchang Tower was built in 1522, formerly known as Wenchang Pavilion. It is a three-story octagonal wooden pagoda that has been in disrepair for a long time. 1743, a five-story octagonal tower was completed in 1746. Datong is 30 meters high and about 24 meters high. This tower covers an area of 37 square meters. The ground floor is 5.2 meters high, with arched stone gates and 20 stone steps in the west. The stone steps are as wide as the stone gate, both of which are one meter. The bottom floor is solid brick except the stone steps. The original wooden stairs on the second floor and above have been destroyed. Iron helmet at the top of the tower, octagonal hanging copper bell. There is a stone carving of Wenchang Tower embedded in the door, as well as the name and date of construction of the builder. 1986 was announced as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.
