Squeezed noodles, also known as dried rice noodles, are produced in Yuexiang County, Zhejiang Province. According to local records, during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, local villagers often used squeezed noodles as gifts, or as gifts to their mothers, elders or relatives and friends to show good luck. In Xinchang, Shengzhou, it is still popular to treat son-in-law or guests with eggs and noodles.
Extruded noodles have a long history and are well-made, which is a good gift for relatives and friends. It was famous in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it was one of the traditional famous foods in Zhejiang.
