Brief introduction of Liulin town
Liulin Town was once known as "Little Beijing", with prosperous commerce and trade in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, living in all directions. Located in the central hinterland of Liulin County, at the west foot of Lvliang Mountains, with an altitude of 780 meters, the microclimate is mild and pleasant. The city is surrounded by Wanfuta Mountain, John John Bowring Mountain and Fengchi Mountain, and the Sanchuan River passes through the city. Negative mountains and rivers, beautiful scenery In ancient times, the town was composed of Liulin, Qinglong and Chugou, which looked like the three towns in Wuhan. Its name comes from the fact that liu lin cun was a willow forest from the beginning to the 1970s. In Liulin Town, there is the Xiangyan Temple of Tang Temple; In Qinglong City, there is a thousand-year-old tree-Tang Huai; In the ancient town of Chugou, there is an ancient Tang kiln. The preservation of historical sites and ancient buildings proves that Liulin County was quite large at least in the Tang Dynasty. Qinglong City used to have the yamen of the Inspection Department and Qinglong Post, a transportation and postal agency. In the thirty-third year of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty (AD 1768), the yamen of the Inspection Department moved to Liulin, which shows that Liulin has occupied a prominent position in the three towns in the early Qing Dynasty.
