According to the standard regulations on compulsory scrapping of motor vehicles
Article 5 The service life of various types of motor vehicles is as follows:
(1) The service life of small and micro taxis is 8 years, that of medium-sized taxis is 10 years, and that of large taxis is 12 years;
(2) Rental of buses 15 years;
(3) Use of small passenger cars 10 years, use of medium passenger cars 12 years and use of large passenger cars 15 years;
(4) The bus has been used for 13 years;
(5) Other small and micro buses are used 10 years, and large and medium buses are used 15 years;
(6) The special school bus has been used for 15 years;
(seven) large and medium-sized non-operating buses (except large cars) used for 20 years;
(8) Three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed trucks equipped with single-cylinder engines are used for 9 years, low-speed trucks and minivans equipped with multi-cylinder engines are used for 12 years, dangerous goods transport trucks are used for 10 years, and other trucks (including semi-trailer tractors and full-trailer tractors) are used for 15 years;
(9) Special operation vehicles with cargo carrying function have been used for 15 years, and special operation vehicles without cargo carrying function have been used for 30 years;
(10) Full trailers and semi-trailers used for transporting dangerous goods 10 years, container semi-trailers used for 20 years, and other semi-trailers used for 15 years;
(1 1) Three-wheeled motorcycle use 12 years, other motorcycles use 13 years.
The relevant departments of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government may, in light of local actual conditions, formulate regulations that are stricter than the above-mentioned service life for passenger cars (except pure electric vehicles) and motorcycles, but the service life of passenger cars for small mini taxis shall not be less than 6 years, that of ordinary three-wheeled motorcycles shall not be less than 10 years, and that of other motorcycles shall not be less than10 years.
Small and micro non-operating passenger cars, large non-operating cars and wheeled special mechanical cars have no service life limit.
The starting date of the service life of the motor vehicle shall be calculated according to the registration date, but if the registration formalities have not been completed for more than 2 years since the date of delivery, it shall be calculated according to the date of delivery.

Standard regulations on compulsory scrapping of motor vehicles
Article 6 Where a motor vehicle changes its nature of use or transfers its registration, its service life and scrapping standard shall be determined in accordance with the following relevant requirements:
(a) the conversion between operating buses and non-operating buses shall be scrapped according to the provisions of operating buses, but if small, micro and large non-operating buses are converted into operating buses, the cumulative service life shall be calculated according to the formula listed in Annex 1 of these Provisions, and the maximum service life shall not exceed 15 years;
(two) different types of operating buses are converted to each other and scrapped according to strict service life;
(3) Small and micro taxis, passenger cars and motorcycles that need to be transferred from registered provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall be scrapped according to the strict service life;
(four) dangerous goods transport trucks, semi-trailers and other trucks, semi-trailers mutual conversion, in accordance with the provisions of the dangerous goods transport trucks, semi-trailers scrapped.
A motor vehicle with a service life of less than 1 year (including 1 year) shall not change its nature of use, transfer its ownership or be transferred out of its registered administrative area of this municipality according to the requirements of these regulations.
