A Record of the True Pagoda of Chang Gan Temple in Jinling
The inscription on the stone tablet previously found in the underground palace has been deciphered. The first line of the stone tablet reads "The Relic Collected in the True Tower of Chang Gan Temple in Jinling", instead of the Relic Collected in the Tower of Chang Gan Temple mentioned earlier. In the Tang and Song Dynasties, the word "real body" specifically refers to Buddha Sakyamuni, indicating that some items in the original relics were hidden as real Buddha relics.

So what is in sarira's letter? The inscription says that there are ten sacred objects, the true bones of the Buddha and the sacred objects, which are placed in gold coffins and silver jars, and together with the seven treasures of Buddhism, such as glass and amber, form the Ashoka Tower. The true bone of Buddha's top refers to the skull of Sakyamuni, and the holy relic refers to the monk relic. Generally speaking, the relics are offered separately. If it is true that the Buddhist relics and Buddhist monks are hidden in the same underground palace, it will be the first time that China discovered them.

The inscription "Ten Relic Induction" coincides with the archaeological discovery of 1960 Zhenjiang Kanluojita underground palace. Li Deyu, the secretariat of Runzhou in the Tang Dynasty, found the stone carving of "Ashoka Tower Relic of Chang Gan Temple" in the underground palace, and moved 1 1 of the 265,438 relics of Chang Gan Temple in Jinling to Beigushan in Zhenjiang. So the inscription "Ten Relic" refers to the 10 relic left by Nanjing in the Tang Dynasty?

According to the inscription, the tower was built by Ke Zheng, a master of evolution, and the underground palace was built in Song Zhenzong, which was in the fourth year of the Great and Middle School (101year). This brick tower is 200 feet high and has nine octagonal floors. Coincidentally, according to historical records, in Song Zhenzong, the abbot of Chang Gan Temple reported that relics often appeared in Changganli area. After investigation, it is true that Zhenzong rebuilt Chang Gan Temple and built a nine-story holy stupa, which proves each other.

There are three other people mentioned in the inscription. One is "Chongwen Guangwuyi Tianzundao Baoying Zhang Qian feels the filial piety of the son of heaven", that is, Song Zhenzong, wishing the country a lasting foundation and the emperor a long life; The other two are "Wang Yi, the assistant of Huazhou (now hua county, Henan), and his wife Shi Niang". Judging from the inscription, Wang Yi should be the person who helped Kezheng build the holy stupa.
