Luoyang, the ancient capital of the 13th Dynasty, has numerous places of interest. Free attractions include: Luopu Park, Sui and Tang Botanical Gardens, Peony Square, Youth Palace Square, Luoyang Museum, Luoyang Eighth Route Army Office Memorial Hall, etc. 1. Kaiyang Lake: Located in the south of Luoyang municipal government building, it is an artificial lake excavated during the construction of the municipal government building. Its name comes from the south gate of Luoyang City in Han Dynasty-"Kaiyangmen". The lake is rectangular, and the Luohe River attracted by pumping irrigation forms a water surface of about 270 mu here. 2. Sanmen (1) Lijingmen: Located in the old city, it is the best-preserved city gate in Luoyang and a symbol of the ancient city of Luoyang. The city gate is centered on the city gate and faces east and west. The tall and heavy walls extend to the north and south sides, and the urn is wide and heavy. Some commercial facilities were introduced during the transformation, which aroused people's criticism, but the momentum was still magnificent. (2) Anximen: Anximen is located in the north street of the old city of Luoyang, which is the north gate of Luoyang City in Jinyuan. Because of the war, the original gate was completely burned down, and the present building was rebuilt on 20 10. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, General Lu Ling rebuilt Luoyang City Wall and converted the earth wall into a brick wall. There are four gates on the city wall, namely Jianchun Gate at the east gate, Lijing Gate at the west gate, Changxia Gate at the south gate and Anxi Gate at the north gate. (3) Jian 'anmen: located at No.88, Huancheng North Road, the old city. This is a new building, located on the west side of Anximen, close to Anximen. The author failed to find its historical position. 3. Laozi Memorial Hall: This is the only exhibition hall in China with the theme of Laozi culture, which is located at the north exit of Old Town North Street, south of Anxi Gate 100m. Formerly known as "Zushi Temple", the original building is no longer there. The present building was restored after 2000 and officially opened on September 28th, 20 12. 4. Barrow Hall: located at No.35 Tiekuo Lane, outside the south gate of the old city, it is a quadrangle in the Qing Dynasty. From the winter solstice of 1938 to the beginning of 0942, the "National Revolutionary Army Office in Lodi 18" worked here. During this period, the office did a lot of work. "Barrow Office", together with the offices of the Eighth Route Army in Xi, Wuhan and Chongqing, occupies a very important position in the history of our army's anti-Japanese war. 5. Doctor Temple: Located in Tangsimen Village, the eastern suburb of Luoyang, the temple was built in the Tang Dynasty and destroyed by the flood in Luohe in the Ming Dynasty. After the flood, the villagers moved the remains of the temple to the north for reconstruction. Most of the existing buildings were built in 1993, and donated by local good-hearted men and women. Dafuxian Temple is extremely prosperous in history. It was built by Wu Zetian for the merits of her parents. Wu Zetian personally wrote "The Floating Monument in the Hall of Great Compassion", and the painter Wu Daozi created a mural of "The Change of Hell" for the hall. At that time, foreign envoys to China often stayed at the temple, which was also an important translation place for Buddhist scriptures. Dozens of Buddhist classics such as Baoyu Jing and Huayan Jing have been translated in the temple. It can be said that it is both the Datang State Guesthouse and the "Royal Luoyang Foreign Languages Institute".
