First of all, what you see is the stone statue of Wen Tianxiang. You can't help asking, "Why is Wen Tianxiang standing here watching the sea?" It was at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, when Yuan soldiers invaded and traffic was filled with smoke. Zhao Min, the king of Song Dynasty, and Zhao Min, the letter king, left Lin 'an (now Hangzhou), the capital of the Southern Song Dynasty, and were escorted by Lu Xiufu and Zhang Shijie from the sea (route: Lin 'an → Wenzhou → Fuzhou → Chaozhou → Xinhui Yamen); 1275, Wen Tianxiang quickly set out to serve the king in Jiangxi. With the desire to save the Song Dynasty, I came to Chaoyang after several battles, hoping to meet Master Min. /kloc-in the winter of 0/278, he came to Haikou Village (now Haimen Town) to climb the Lotus Peak and see the emperor's boat. The proposition is "Lotus Peak" and the sword is engraved with "Final South". Coupled with folklore, Chaoyang people deified and said: "Lotus Peak was cracked by Wen Tianxiang." In this way, "people pass the land, people pass the land", and the name of Lotus Peak is well known. Wen Tianxiang has become a model for China people to be loyal to the monarch, and Lotus Peak has become a resort for people to pay homage to the loyal soul of Wen Gong and visit the sea scenery of Lotus Peak. In order to commemorate Wen Tianxiang's patriotic spirit, in 1987, the Chaoyang County People's Government hired a famous sculptor Tang Daxi to design and build this 16-meter-high statue made of 74 pieces of granite next to the Lotus Peak boulder. Strangely, one of the granite stones of the same color obviously turned black after carving, which has just become the shirt of Wen Tianxiang. Under the stone statue, there is an inscription "Biography of Wen Tianxiang" written by Wu Nansheng, which was inscribed by Qi Gong Shu Dan and Esheng Qin. On the left are two poems written by Qiao Shi, former chairman of the National People's Congress, and Lao She, a famous writer 1962 about a spring outing to Haimen. Wen Tianxiang, a stone statue, has a resolute manner, a sword facing the sea, a beautiful beard fluttering, and a lonely and brave spirit, which makes worshippers respect and gives people the feeling that "the emperor was poor in the past, but today his loyal soul is still around the waves"!
Then I came to the bottom of Lotus Peak and saw the word "Dragon and Tiger" engraved on the gate of Lotus Peak to protect the loyal soul and protect the dance. In ancient China, there was a saying that "a dragon left and a white tiger right". The word "tiger" was written by Liu Yongfu, a famous anti-Japanese soldier, in pictographic grass, and the word "dragon" was written by Chen Shangfa, an envoy of the Qing Dynasty. No wonder 1982 spring, Liu Haisu, an 87-year-old master of art, was inspired by art when he visited the Lotus Peak, and wrote the words "Cloud Dragon and Wind Tiger". Climbing the stairs, I came to Guanhailou, which faced the waves in the South China Sea and leaned against the cliff. The railings are extremely eye-catching, the sea is vast, the blue waves are boundless, the fishing sails are far away, the sound of the waves is still the same, the waves are beating against the yellow sand, and people frolicking near the beach are chasing each other or fishing on the beach. If you are interested, you can recruit a few confidants to rent a yacht to chase the waves and join the vast embrace of the sea, which is another kind. The water, light and mountains here change with the seasons, and the scenery is very different. It can be divided into eight lotus peaks, namely, "the blue sea is still, the shoal is stormy, the morning light is unreal, the shadow of Dayu Tower, the lion's head lamp, the fog is spring, the autumn is bathed, and the sunset returns to the boat". In the strange summer of June, at dawn, the sea of Lianfeng is glittering, and sometimes there are natural wonders of a mirage. SE HUN, a Ming Dynasty man, said in a poem: "Living in Haikou, swimming in the blue waves, eating pillows and stones, is full of excitement. I hope that the clouds will return, but I will leave the water and mountains. " The perfect combination of natural landscape beauty and historical and cultural treasures is the charm of Lotus Peak.
