Legend has it that Zapama, the goddess who created the world, and Zamima, the goddess who created the world, worked together to mend the sky and weave the earth, and jointly created mankind. One day, a storm suddenly swept the whole land and flooded all the villages. Shemima soon sewed up the sky in the east, west, north and south with three ground wires originally drawn from the ground. The southern sky is seamless, and the rainstorm is still pouring. After consulting Zamima and Zapama, they decided to build a Nantianmen in Raniedan to block the wind and rain in the south and protect the people in the south from floods. This strong wind and lightning gave birth to one of the biggest Vulcan and drought gods, Lager, and fell to the center of the earth. He created a false sun in the sky, dried up the pond, dried up the flowers and leaves, and people suffered from drought again. In order to save the earth and human beings, Zapama defeated Rasheed with magic, poisoned him with "Ghost Seeing Sorrow", shot down the fake sun with his own huge bow and arrow, and human beings were reborn. After that, in order to prevent evil spirits from appearing between heaven and earth again, they blessed mankind and flew into the sky on the fourth day of the first lunar month. Shemima rides the sun to patrol the earth during the day; Zapama rode on the moon and toured space at night.
On the day Zamima and Zapama went to heaven, people held high the bow and arrow left by Zapama on the spot, danced for three days and three nights, and sang songs for three days and three nights to thank them for their great kindness in saving mankind. Since then, this day has become a "snail lying festival" (snail lying means joy), and dance has also evolved into kicking a snail lying.
Jumping around the lying snail always revolves around the center of "lying snail" (that is, the platform for placing offerings). The platform consists of two arches about 6 meters high and a pedestal 4 meters square. There is a huge bow and arrow (made of wood) in the middle of the top of the memorial arch, indicating that the ancestor Jemima shot down the devil's false sun with this arrow. The radiant sun is painted on the top of the left archway, and the blue sky and the bright moon are painted on the top of the right archway, which means that Jamima tore off her breasts and embedded them in the sky, creating the sun and the moon, so the man has no breasts since then. Various colorful patterns of Achang women's clothing are painted in the sun, which symbolizes the dragon skirt and phoenix skirt woven by Shepama for Achang. The arrow of the divine arrow also marks the one-foot-five-inch-tall Baotou of Achang women.
