The Cultural Origin of Tongluo Cultural Space
The music of Xiyuangong Opera in Vietnam originated from the ancient Dongshan culture and belongs to the Southeast Asian culture from the late Bronze Age to the early Iron Age. It is generally believed that the age is from the 3rd century BC to AD 1 century. It is popular in Song Kun, Calais, Duole, Duonong and Lintong provinces in central and western Vietnam. It involves 17 ethnic minorities, including Bana, Seden, Monon, Koch, Roman, Edie and Calais, belonging to Austronesian and other Austronesian languages.

Some people say that the cultural space of gongs originated from the Dongzi culture in ancient Southeast Asia, also known as the bronze drum culture in Southeast Asia. Vietnam's gong culture is characterized by its playing style. Each player carries a drum with a diameter ranging from 25 to 80 cm. Male and female villagers drum 3 to 12 by village. Different arrangements and rhythms cooperate with different ceremonies, such as calf sacrifice ceremony, rice praying ceremony, memorial ceremony and harvest celebration. The gongs in this area are not made locally. They were imported from neighboring countries and tuned to the tone they expected to use.
