In the morning in Quanzhou, you can drive to Quanzhou for an hour. Once the port of Erythrina has returned to a dull state, but the buildings on the street can't be low-key. Kaiyuan Temple has two towers, East and West. Chengtian Temple is a villa of the Five Dynasties, and Chongfu Temple was built in the Northern Song Dynasty, known as the Three Jungles in Quanzhou.
At sunset, two stone pagodas in a brick-red building complex in southern Fujian can be seen on the roofs of residential buildings around Quanzhou West Street. Located in Kaiyuan Temple, this stone pagoda was built in the second year of the Tang Dynasty. Kaiyuan Temple was rebuilt after thousands of years of disasters. Today, the wooden pagoda in the Tang Dynasty has become a stone pagoda in the Song Dynasty, and the ruins of the ancient Indian temple in the Yuan Dynasty have become the materials for building the Mahayana Hall. The area of this temple is only one tenth of its original size. Nevertheless, it is still the largest Buddhist temple in Bamin, and there are many places worth visiting.
The second tower of song dynasty
You can see the tallest ancient stone pagoda in China and look for the statue of the monkey. You can look up at the hall and marvel at the beautiful arches in the shape of 24 wonderful birds. You can learn about the captains of ocean-going merchant ships on the Maritime Silk Road in Quanzhou Bay Ancient Ship Exhibition Hall. It is also necessary to look for exotic gods from India, Greece and other places in Kaiyuan Temple.
Tiansimen
When you first walk into the gate of Chengtian Temple, you may wonder whether you have stepped into a quiet garden. Looking around, you can see lush green grass, tall and dense banyan trees, and Taiping jars with lotus flowers in full bloom. This ancient temple was built in the south-central Tang Dynasty in the 10 century. This was the South Garden where the envoys of the Five Dynasties dropped out of school. It was renamed Chengtian Temple in Song Dynasty. After the war in the late Ming Dynasty and the restoration in the early Qing Dynasty, Master Hongyi came here to give lectures in 1930, and stayed for 14 years. To this day, the quiet atmosphere that isolates the hustle and bustle of the world has not changed.
Entering from the gate with the word "Le Tai", the long banyan gallery is shaded by trees, and on the right is a row of seven pagodas. On the left are the platform terms and the remains of ancient coins. Another courtyard is the crematorium of Master Hongyi before and after his death. The mage who guards the gate sometimes closes the door to rest, so he may not see it. The model of "Yonglong Bao Tong" pottery coin on the stone tablet was unearthed 3 meters underground. On the north side of the corridor is the King Temple and the restored temple, but the mottled stone buildings interspersed between them still exude ancient meaning. Without fireworks, you might as well take a walk in the quiet winding path and the secret room with dense flowers and trees.
chongfu monastery
Chongfu Temple has three entrances, and there are three kinds of "treasures of town and mountain", namely Hong Zhong, Pagoda and Thousand-person Ding. Hong Zhong is located in the bell tower of Qian Dian Square. Ming primary corner, loud voice. Today, Chongfu Night Bell is still a scene in Quanzhou. It rings at 4:00 am and 8:00 pm respectively, and monks get up early and practice late.
After that, you can also enjoy the Arab architectural style in Jing Qing Temple, an Islamic church in Damascus. Jing Qing Temple is really clean. Occasionally, several devout believers come here, nodding silently and muttering to themselves. A semi-dome tower that passes through granite and diabase, and on the left is a deserted green space, which was once the place where the Islamic Temple of Heaven prayed every day.
1607 Quanzhou earthquake destroyed the huge dome, leaving several remaining pillars. Because the dome of the Hall of Great Heroes can't be repaired, 1609 built a small auditorium in the temple, which is now a famous Chinese mountain hall. This building is also ill-fated, and it has been built and collapsed again and again. The existing building is a modern reconstruction. But the lotus incense burner at the entrance of Mingshan Temple is a real antique.
Jing Qing Temple Exhibition Center is located on the west side of Fengtian Temple. This paper introduces the history, architectural features and Muslim culture of Quanzhou. Next to it is Guandi Temple.
Finally, I visited the Tianhou Palace where Mazu is located in the south gate. Take a walk along Luoyang Bridge in the eastern suburbs at night. You can enjoy a quiet night in Quanzhou.
Hui 'an goes from Quanzhou to Hui 'an in the north. There is a well-preserved Ming anti-Japanese city wall on Hui 'an Peninsula, but tourists come here more to see the Hui 'an girl who lives on the island.
They wrapped their heads in headscarves, only showing their faces, wearing short coats and trousers that only reached their navel, and carrying bamboo baskets to the seaside, which became the scenery of Shu Ting's "gently biting the corner of the headscarf in his mouth and standing gracefully between the sea and the sky".

From Quanzhou North to Hui 'an, there is a rare well-preserved Ming Dynasty anti-Japanese city wall on Hui 'an Peninsula, but tourists come here more to see Hui 'an women living on the island. They covered their heads with headscarves, showing only their faces. They are wearing short coats and trousers that only reach their navel. Take a bamboo basket to the seaside.
Chongwu Ancient Town
Chongwu Ancient City is located in the southeast of Hui 'an County, facing the Taiwan Province Strait. Although there are only intermittent old city walls, it is the best-preserved military defense system among more than 60 acropolis. Entering the ancient city from the west gate, you will find that the houses here are not made of red bricks, but of square stones. Today, there are still ancestors who worship Wu and descendants of the anti-Japanese army.
Walking out of the east gate of the ancient city, the half moon bay in front of us once disappeared because of the construction of more than 3 kilometers of seawall. Today, this classic scenic spot reappears. At low tide, many locals step on the delicate yellow sand to pick up clams. After 6 pm, you can also enter the Expo site free of charge from the south gate in front of Guandi Temple. If you go east, you will find the lighthouse on the wall, which is the highest position of the ancient city. You can see the outline of the whole city wall and the panoramic view of the sea.
Zhangjiao village
Zhangjiao Village is famous for its vast scenery. The name of this village comes from a 700-year-old camphor tree on the top of the mountain. The ancient house built on the mountain began in the Qing Dynasty. Today, there are no residents in the village and many houses are in a state of collapse. But the stone wall is like an oil painting, full of poetry, which blends with the surrounding farmland under the refraction of sunlight.
