At 9: 35 am on August 12, the office of heshun county municipal government received a report from the masses of Jinzhong municipal government emergency office, saying that the slope of A6- 1 mining area in No.4 mining area of Lv Xin Coal Industry of Jinmei Marketing Group had landslide. The local city and county governments attached great importance to it and immediately arranged to report clues. Relevant departments of heshun county Municipal Government successively went to the site of slope landslide in Lv Xin Coal Industry to verify the situation.
On August 14, the heshun county Municipal Government organized a special meeting on slope landslide survey in No.4 mining area A6- 1 mining area of Lv Xin Coal Industry again, arranged cooperation from several relevant departments, and set up five special working groups to monitor and clean up the slope landslide residues in the whole process, and once again verified the operators in the mining area one by one. Huang Haitao, deputy mayor of Jinzhong Municipal Government, led the leaders of Jinzhong Coal Supervision Branch and Municipal Coal Bureau to Heshun to verify the situation.
At present, under the strong working pressure of the municipal and county governments, at 0: 52 on August 15, Levin, the legal representative and general manager of Lv Xin Coal Industry, surrendered himself to the heshun county Public Security Bureau, claiming that the slope of A6- 1 in the fourth mining area of the mine had collapsed in August1.
Upon preliminary inquiry, five excavators and 1 tanker were buried at the time of the accident, among which three excavators and 1 tanker had been dug up. There were *** 10 people at the scene, of whom 1 person escaped, 4 people died and 5 people were missing.
According to reports, at present, heshun county Public Security Bureau has taken control of Levin, the legal representative and general manager of Lv Xin Coal Industry, and the heads of relevant departments have been on the scene to guide the rescue. Emergency rescue headquarters have been set up at the city and county levels to further verify the number of people and search for missing persons, and seven working groups have been set up. Personnel verification and accident rescue work is in progress.
