When the body is buried, it is put on a burial suit with three waists and five collars (three trousers and five coats), commonly known as shroud, and the coffin stops in the hall to commemorate it. Chinese fir coffins with eight profiles (eight pieces of wood) are the top grade, with two pairs but no single one, followed by ten profiles, followed by twelve profiles and fourteen profiles, and sixteen profiles are the worst. Stop there for a while, pretend to be a cow for a year, and go to the grave. This situation is rare. In the funeral procession, there are bands, Taoist priests, coffins, the eldest son holding the spirit tablet, filial families, relatives and friends attending the funeral, etc. Arrive at the cemetery, bury the grave, erect a monument, salute and complete the funeral etiquette.
After the coffin was buried, the mourning did not stop there, but a neutral fasting was still needed. The first seven days and the last seven days are the most important, so you must ask the Taoist priest to recite the scriptures. Before the seventh day (forty-ninth), the dutiful son can't have a haircut or visit friends. At the end of the Chinese New Year, he must do a fast, also known as the Dojo. The scene and the number of days depend on the rich and the poor, at least one day, and at most seven days. He can't make a single meal without making two meals. Then only sweep graves in spring and autumn. The so-called filial piety of being cautious and pursuing the distance is roughly the same.
This is the funeral of Yingshan in Huanggang City, Hubei Province.
