Colorful Danxia in Zhangye is the most typical Danxia landform in the arid area of northern China, and it is the only area in China where Danxia landform and colorful hilly landscape are highly compound. Colorful Danxia Scenic Area has seven observation platforms: colorful clouds, colorful fairyland, colorful splendid scenery, colorful rosy clouds, the best photography spot, colorful river terrace and Vientiane Tulin Valley.
