Why are red and green the wedding colors and black and white the funeral colors in traditional culture? Now people are against each other?
I think it has something to do with cultural exchange or something. We can see that China's wedding dresses are mainly red and gold, symbolizing liveliness, auspiciousness and wealth, while black and white are used for funerals because of simplicity and solemnity. Compared with our wedding, western-style wedding occasions are serious and solemn. White symbolizes purity and represents their beautiful expectations for the bride (everyone knows that the western concept of sex is more open, which means that the bride can't mess around after marriage). Modern people have a high degree of acceptance of western culture, so many people who get married are western-style weddings, using black and white. However, it is still difficult to see red for funerals. If it is used, it may be that the undertaker wants to hold a prosperous funeral (the dog will save his life)!
