Hakka ancestral halls have at least two halls, most of which have three halls. There are two stone pillars on the front eaves and lips of the patio of each hall, and the couplets on both sides are generally not engraved, which are reserved for posting couplets left by predecessors or temporary inscription when family members hold weddings, funerals and celebrations on holidays.
When holding a wedding, this couplet should be pasted or hung on the pillars or eaves of the hall. It is a masterpiece of couplets with repeated rhetoric and neat antithesis.
