Anren Town is located 20.8km northeast of Dali County, with Buchang Township in the east, Chaoyi Town in the south, Hujia Town in the west and Liang Yi Town in the north. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south, with a ladder shape, 8km long from north to south and 7km wide from east to west, with a total area of 57. 1 km2. The town has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages, 34 natural villages, 134 villagers' groups with 33,000 people and 550 19 mu of cultivated land.
