First, the template format is vpt. The vsp format is a project file; Secondly, the lower version can't open the template made by the higher version, so X4 can't open the template made by X5;

1. The vpt template downloaded from official website and automatically installed is stored in my document \Corel VideoStudio Pro\. Click the "Instant Project" button at the top of the timeline panel to choose to import it into the timeline panel;

2. There are four ways to insert a timeline from an unofficial template:

A) right-click vpt or vsp；;

B) Insert a video file into the video track of X4, and select vpt or vsp；;

C) Click File in the upper left corner of X4 Video Editor-Open Project-Select vpt or vsp file;

D) Add the vpt or vsp file as a backup in the material library, and drag it to the video track or superimposed track if necessary.

A and B above are not necessarily correct, but C and D above are generally correct, otherwise there is something wrong with the vpt or vsp file.
