Jiaozuo Experimental Middle School, formerly known as Jiaozuo No.2 Middle School, was founded in 1953 and is located in the city center, covering an area of more than 40,000 square meters. 1August, 1999, with the approval of the municipal party Committee and the municipal government, No.2 Middle School merged with No.11 Middle School, and No.2 Middle School was renamed Jiaozuo Experimental Middle School. In September, 20001year, with the approval of the Provincial Department of Education, Jiaozuo Experimental Middle School Branch was established.

Today, the experimental middle school has 56 classes, nearly 4,000 students and more than 260 faculty members, including 87 senior titles, 50 intermediate titles and 23 provincial and municipal backbone teachers.
