Laiwu Central Hospital (formerly Laiwu Mining Bureau Central Hospital) was built in 197 1. It is a comprehensive second-class first-class hospital integrating medical treatment, scientific research, teaching, prevention, health care and rehabilitation. It is the teaching hospital of six medical schools, including National Baby-Friendly Hospital and Taishan Medical College, the postgraduate training base of Taishan Medical College, the designated hospital for handling traffic accidents of Laiwu Traffic Police Brigade, and the medical insurance and personal insurance of Laiwu City.
