Methods/steps
Digging modeling holes-I was inspired by a rectangular hole in the pig box, so I dug three modeling holes on the other three sides: heart-shaped, star-shaped and triangle; In the small candy box above, four molding holes were dug: round, heart-shaped, square and bear-shaped.
Sealing holes-if the holes around are not sealed, the lamp beads inside will be very clear and beautiful. I just remembered that a few years ago there was a film seal for a package of plastic photos, so I rummaged through the boxes and found one inside each hole. Just this film has a hazy frost feeling, haha, it really helped me!
The connection between the two boxes-if they are directly fixed with double-sided tape, it is simple and convenient, but there are two problems. First, string the lamp beads together. If the upper and lower boxes want to have the effect of light, they must be hollowed out to let the beads string through; Second, if only two boxes are butted and stuck together, they may be separated and disconnected in the process of taking them. So, I can only cut out the plane size of the small box on the lid of the big box, and then put the lid under the small box into the lid of the big box from the cut hole, and then fasten it tightly with the lid of the big box. In this way, the two boxes are buckled together, and the firmness is guaranteed!
Placement of lighting battery and switch-this is the key to realize lantern lighting! The circuit was originally in the plastic shell of the toy, but it was taken out in a scattered state, and the battery, circuit pole, switch and so on were all integrated. Fortunately, Ma Le was smart enough to estimate the size himself and make a mold out of a cardboard shell to reassemble these things. After fixing them with tape, I attached the power supply to the top of the box with double-sided tape, and dug a hole to expose the switch button, and fixed it with tape inside to ensure that the switch would not be pressed into the box when pressing the button outside.
Small decorations with four corners-I just bought a Christmas tree with a height of1.8m, and there are more than 200 kinds of small things in the package, so I took four bows and four small cherries as decorations and fixed them on the four corners with double-sided tape. Le Nai said that the decoration was not beautiful, but the time was tight. It was past eleven when we did this job, and the little guy was sleepy, so we made do with it and didn't bother to compare and replace other decorations!
