Xuanwu Gate is the back door of Nanjing Ming City Wall. It opened in 1908, formerly known as Feng Runmen. It is located between Shence Gate, Jiefang Gate and Emergency Gate. Named after Xuanwu Lake, it is the west gate of Xuanwu Lake Park. Xuanwu Gate was opened in the thirty-fourth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1908).
