1, the luminescence principle is different
The principle of led lighting is to emit light through electron migration inside the semiconductor, and the whole lighting process will not generate any heat. The luminous principle of fluorescent lamp is that the ballast generates high voltage instantly, which makes the two pins inside the fluorescent lamp generate current, and then the fluorescent powder will emit light, and the whole luminous process will produce high heat.
2. Different brightness
The brightness of led lamps will be higher than that of fluorescent lamps. For high-quality led lamps, the light efficiency can reach more than 130lm/w, which is about 2 to 3 times that of fluorescent lamps. That is to say, the brightness of 18W led lamp is relative to the brightness of 36W-48W fluorescent lamp, so the brightness of these two lamps is still different.
3, the service life is different
The service life of led lamps will be longer than that of fluorescent lamps. Generally, the service life of led lamps can reach more than 50,000 hours, but the service life of fluorescent lamps is only about 10000 to 20,000 hours.
Method of selecting and purchasing led lamps
When buying led lamps, we should look at their luminous efficiency. The higher the luminous efficiency of led lamps, the more energy-saving they are. Usually, it is best to buy led lamps with luminous efficiency higher than 80 LM/W, which will save electricity.
When buying an led lamp, we should look at its color rendering index, that is, the color that an object will appear after being irradiated by light. At present, the T color rendering index of led lamps on the market is usually above 75. When buying led lamps, it is recommended to buy led lamps with color rendering index above 80, which can better reflect the authenticity of colors.
