Appreciation of American Literature in Ningxia

This summer vacation, my family drove to the west.

When I went to Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, I saw mosques on both sides of the expressway strewn at random: some were ancient pagodas, some were octagonal, some were hexagonal and antique. The breeze blew and the wind chimes on the eaves jingled; Some domes and spires, with beautiful blue-green glazed glass, are full of exotic customs, just like exquisite handicrafts from Arabia.

Moving on, there are fewer and fewer mosques, replaced by white pagodas in Tibet, which emit plumes of smoke from time to time. Dad told me that this is a way for Tibetans to worship, called? Braised mulberry? It's burning cypress, grain, etc. In a tower, with the scent of cypress? Exorcism? . This kind of scenery tells us that we have entered Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. At this time, you will feel all the way uphill slowly, and the road under your feet will gradually merge with Qilian Mountain. With the increase of altitude, mountains are stacked, boulders are abrupt, and trees are shaded. At the foot of the mountain are fields and farmers, white sheep, black yak and jujube red horses can be seen everywhere, and the winding Daxia River flows quietly, bringing moisture to all living things without hesitation. Tibetans wearing black Tibetan robes and Muslims wearing white hats appear from time to time on the road. They meet naturally, greet each other and take care of their families.

Further on, the stupa is denser, and the Labrang Temple has arrived. I found that this is a rural temple, where lamas eat, live and travel. It's summer vacation, and tourists flock to it. We followed a Lama tour guide and tirelessly shuttled through this holy place of Tibetan Buddhism. This temple is carved with beams and painted with buildings, and the wood carvings are even more exquisite. What impressed me the most during the visit was a butter statue hall, which was filled with all kinds of colorful butter Buddha statues. Those humble butter was given life in the hands of monks! ? Mom, come on, the Buddha statues here are more delicious! ? One of my jokes made the room full of tourists cover their mouths and laugh.

Undoubtedly, the people who are most moved are the believers who come from other places and kowtow around the temple. There are old people and two or three-year-old children. They traveled long distances, slept in the wind, and only came here for pious and sacred worship. Their spirit touched me and made me admire! Let me marvel!

Beautiful and mysterious west, see you next time.
