Ningde Nuclear Power Plant in Fujian is one of the nuclear power plants with the highest degree of autonomy and localization in China. The project is jointly built by Guangdong Nuclear Power Investment Co., Ltd., Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. and Fujian Coal Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., with a planned capacity of 6× 1000MW nuclear power unit, which is planned once and implemented by stages. In the first phase of the project, four million kilowatt nuclear power units were built, and the technical route of China's own brand CPR 1000 was adopted, which was positioned as the second generation nuclear power plus improved PWR, reaching the advanced level of new nuclear power plants in the world, with an investment of about 50 billion yuan. After the completion of 20 12, it is estimated that the annual power generation will reach about 30 billion kWh. On February 18, 2008, the construction site of Fujian Ningde Nuclear Power Station, located at the foot of Taimu Mountain and next to Qingchuan Bay, was full of colorful flags, and the atmosphere was warm. After the promulgation and implementation of the National Medium-and Long-term Nuclear Power Development Plan, the preliminary work was completed in just over two years, which is the shortest time for the preliminary work of nuclear power in China so far. Among them, the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, Fujian Provincial Party Committee and provincial government attached great importance to and strongly supported the development of Ningde, which condensed the joint efforts of all levels of teams, departments and cadres and the masses in the city and fully reflected the strategic vision of the decision-making level of the owner. In this regard, the whole city of Ningde cherishes it and feels honored.
