As you said, the difference between the two is only the support of video resolution. The playback of 4k video requires better equipment (many TVs can't play 4k yet), and the hardware requirements of 4k video clips are higher, which can be dragged by professional workstations. But p3p can also shoot 1080p or 4k.
So I think it still depends on your customer requirements and later ability. (If the customer wants 4K, do you want to buy another one? )
