Some people say that because a person loves a city; Some people say that falling in love with someone because of a city.
In fact, most cities in the world are similar, the only difference is the people living in this city. It can be said that the existence of these people makes this city different.
I have been in Guangzhou for almost three months. Apart from the vague impression of this city when I was a child, this is the second time I have come to Guangzhou as an adult, and it is also the longest time I have stayed.
As the third largest city in China, when I first arrived, I really couldn't tell the direction. I've always been a little dizzy by its 1 1 area. When I go out in the future, I will carefully think about which area I am in, otherwise I will go to a place at will, and the distance between the two areas can be better than that between the other two cities. Especially for me, a patient who relies heavily on mobile phones when going out, I absolutely dare not wander around in strange places without mobile phones, but later I found that compared with other cities I have been to, the road signs in Guangzhou are very clear, and many places can be found directly by subway. I remember that I came at the end of April last year, but unfortunately I went directly to Shenzhen in a few days, and I didn't even have time to get familiar with the city. This year is one of the shortcomings of last year. After working and living here for a period of time, I gradually began to integrate into this city, and I like the feeling that this city gives me more and more.
Over the years, from Yancheng to Liancheng and now to Yangcheng, although I went to many cities in the middle, most of them just stayed for a few days to feel different cultural customs. Only these three cities have been my longest stay. Among them, one is my hometown, one is the city where my university is located, and the other is the city I plan to develop in the future. In this way, these three seemingly unrelated cities came into my life in this way, which constituted the dribs and drabs over the years.
Guangzhou gives me the feeling that it is very compatible. Among the four first-tier cities in the north, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, only Guangzhou and Shenzhen almost dominate. There is no local superiority peculiar to northern city people, and there is no lack of cultural heritage. Even if you walk into some small shops or casually walk on the street, you can hear Cantonese that Lao Guang is familiar with. More importantly, as a foodie, Guangzhou can be described as a collection of cuisines from all over the country. Why do you have to go to the north to experience it? Just come to Guangzhou.
1. If you are new here, many people will choose to go to Guang Zhouta or Little Yao Man. As the second tallest tower in Asia, it is really worth seeing.

Then you can take a look at Zhujiang New Town along Metro Line 3. There are Guangzhou Library, Guangzhou Museum, Asian Games venue, Pearl River, World Mall, etc.
This area of Zhujiang New Town can be said to be a wasteland 10 years ago, but no one expected that today, ten years later, this land can be described as an inch of land in Guangzhou.

As the longest subway line in Guangzhou, Line 3 is also one of the longest subway lines in Asia and the world. Successfully connected Panyu, Haizhu and Tianhe. Get off at Tiyu West Road along Line 3. You will meet a CBD, a shopping center and a Tianhe Festival Pedestrian Street. In short, it is suitable for buy buy to buy.
The optical shopping center has captured a group of children who love reading.
However, we should be very careful about the flow of people in the sports west. It's really scary. It is recommended not to get on and off here during the special rush hour. These are the lessons of blood before.
2. Next, Yuexiu District, Liwan District and Haizhu District, which are one of the central urban areas, are introduced. It can be said that to understand the history and culture of Guangzhou, it is enough to come to Yuexiu and Liwan. There is a bustling business center here:
There are also quiet places on Beijing Road and Shangxiajiu, such as Chenjia Temple, Sacred Heart Cathedral of Shishi, Shamian, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and Zhong Da University. These are all places worth visiting.

Speaking of Wen Qing's necessary punching place, you have to say Sandy. It used to be a British-French concession, with more than 100 independent buildings, which has a unique flavor. There seems to be a similar place when I went to Tianjin before.
When visiting Beijing Road, you can visit museums and observe history.
Then transfer to the subway, you can visit Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, appreciate the places where great men lived, and visit the former presidential palace. It is said that there is one in Nanjing, so I have time to visit it.

Speaking of Panyu, there must be many people who feel sorry for me. The mode of being demoted by the city has always been one of the hacked areas. Compared with Haizhu District, Tianhe, Liwan, Yuexiu, which is closer to the main city, Panyu is really a bit remote, and many people laugh that it is the urban-rural junction. However, it is such an urban-rural fringe, with Guangzhou South Station, one of the largest high-speed railway station in South China, and the largest university town in Guangzhou and even the whole country, including major universities in Guangzhou, and even its GDP has always been in the top few. But Panyu has always been a low-key existence. There is a saying that "food is in Guangzhou and taste is in Panyu". Besides delicious food, there are many interesting places. For example, Shawan Ancient Town, Dafu Mountain Forest Park and Baomo Garden.
Shawan ancient town is really a place worth visiting. After a busy week's work, I urgently need to find a quiet environment to settle down. This is definitely a good place to go.
If you have time, you can make an appointment with a few friends, ride to the university town, visit major universities one by one along the way, and enjoy delicious food by the way, which is also a great pleasure in life.
As for food, I don't want to complain that Cantonese food is light, but I prefer morning tea cakes and the like here. It's good to eat Cantonese food once in a while, but now I especially hate boiled chicken and boiled vegetables. Of course, in Guangzhou, don't worry about food. Streets and alleys are all local characteristics, both north and south, which are really much better than many cities.
