Zou Ping's Chinese New Year Customs
After entering the twentieth day of the twelfth lunar month, I gradually began to steam steamed bread, make tofu, kill pigs and sell meat, clean the house, buy firecrackers and make new clothes. On the 23rd of the twelfth lunar month, the main activity is to send grandpa Soap King to heaven, usually at night. They usually tie paper horses, sprinkle wine and burn incense with Zhao Jun, whisper a few words, and let him say good things in the sky, as well as tributes. The couplets next to the statue of Zhao Jun are usually: Heaven speaks well, the lower bound is peaceful, and the head of the family is criticized. Spring Festival couplets will be posted at noon on New Year's Eve, inviting people to go home for the New Year. At night, every household lights lanterns, men usually get together to drink and stay up late, and women usually pack jiaozi together and go to bed after packing (we don't have dinner there). On New Year's Day, the men woke up the whole family around four in the morning. They all put on new clothes, offered sacrifices to their grandfathers and door gods, set off firecrackers, distributed girls and ate jiaozi for breakfast. Then I left a middle-aged man at home to take care of the elderly and receive New Year greetings. Others will go out to pay New Year greetings, and generally go to the nearest family home to pay New Year greetings and kowtow to their elders. Then close relatives get together and go to other people's homes for the New Year. You don't have to kowtow Is it often the first thing you ask when you meet? Then have a cigarette, drink some tea, eat some melon seeds and chat with the old man. From the village west to the village east, no matter what the surname is, as long as there are old people at home, they all worship again. These activities were all finished before dawn. When the east is red, it is already the end of the year. Then someone may go to other villages to pay New Year greetings to people with the same surname. This is the first day of junior high school. I want to pay a New Year call to my family and villagers. On the second day of junior high school, my nephew began to visit her family for New Year. I went to my aunt's house on the fourth day of the third grade and my father's house on the sixth day of the fifth grade. Especially on the sixth day, new grandfathers usually visit on the sixth day. From the seventh day to the eighth day, I went to my aunt's house and so on. There is also the story of eating jiaozi in the third and fifth grades, which I can't remember at the moment.
