North Sichuan Preschool Teachers College is a public full-time ordinary college approved by Sichuan Provincial People's Government. The school's predecessor was Sichuan Guangyuan Normal School, one of the 100 higher normal schools in China, which originated in 1902 and was founded in 1937.

It has successively signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with more than ten county governments and municipal departments, and carried out normalized cooperation in the fields of education, sports, cultural tourism, civil affairs and precision poverty alleviation to help regional economic and social development. Set up Shudao Research Institute, take the lead in setting up Guangyuan Tourism Industry-Education Alliance, and set up Cui Yun Pavilion, a tourism cultural and creative workshop in North Sichuan Kindergarten, to help Shudao apply for World Heritage.

Establish Sichuan Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection and Inheritance Normal Education Demonstration Base and Guangyuan Intangible Cultural Heritage Training Center, build Liu Ma embroidery, Huma paper-cutting, Bailong paper puppet, Sandui Suona and other four training workshops and Sichuan Opera training base, set up Guangyuan Literature Critics Association, and create Jianmenguan Forum to prosper local literature and art and serve cultural inheritance.
