The shadow puppeteer of Luoshan Shadow Play is made of cowhide, which is different from the northern shadow play. Its performance club, commonly known as "a box", is generally composed of eight people. The whole box (props) is 120 sets of silhouettes, with a white cloth 6 feet long and 3 feet wide as a screen, and each filmmaker supports it with three bamboo poles. During the performance, musicians accompanied, voiced and sang behind the scenes. Accompaniment instruments are mainly huqin, suona, gongs and drums, and the most distinctive is its singing, which is not limited to some traditional opera music, but also includes folk songs, folk songs and lantern songs in southern Henan, so the choice of singing is quite extensive, which also makes it closer to the masses.
