Jinmatai Tower in Zhaoan, Zhangzhou was built in the eighth year of Qing Qianlong (1783). Zhao Yi Dongxi originated in Longshan, bordering Taiping and Xiuzhuan towns. The stream flowing down the canyon turned into a big lake called Longtan before it reached Chen Long Village. Qingxi winds down from the bottom of Longtan, flows to the junction of Hemei and Guanbei, and flows deeper and deeper. Some local geomantic scholars believe that in order to avoid the "four streams scattered" and protect Long Mai, they built stone pagodas here to calm the geomantic omen.
Jinmatai Tower sits south to north, with a square five-level pavilion, more than 20 meters high and an area of 36 square meters. The circumference of the tower foundation is 24 meters, and the tower foundation is 4 meters high. The first floor of the tower is a circular arch with a Buddha statue in the north. The stone tablet at the door reads "Golden Horse Terrace is withered and long, it is autumn". There are round windows on the second floor, arched windows on the third floor, rectangular windows on the fourth floor and triangular windows on the fifth floor. The doors and windows are all north-facing, uneven. Each floor of the tower has circular steps. The ground floor is dedicated to mysterious gods, including Guanyin Bodhisattva; The second floor is dedicated to the grain emperor; The third floor is dedicated to Guan Di Gong; The fourth floor is dedicated to Emperor Wenchang. There are three incarnations of Guanyin Bodhisattva in the South China Sea, and the Hekou Tower is dedicated to Sanniang.
Jinmatai Tower is a landscape, facing Xiuzhuan Township, surrounded by mountains and rivers. The poem says: the mountains are stacked with white clouds, the grass is green and birds are singing. There is no good scenery in the barren hills, and there is a clear stream next to the shadow of the Linglong Tower (Qing Guangxu Xiaolian Ma Guangjin's Spring Festival Evening's Golden Horse and Taiwan Tour).
Zhangzhou Zhaoan Jinmatai Tower Yu 1985 was included in the first batch of cultural relics protection units in Zhaoan County.
