Black Dragon Temple is located in Wohu Mountain, Qikou Town, at the entrance of Qinshui River at the southern end of Linxian County, Shanxi Province. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Shanxi Province. According to the records of the addition of the Bell and Drum Monument in the 21st year of Qing Qianlong (1756), the temple was built in the Ming Dynasty. During the Yongzheng period, Yuelou was added. During the reign of Daoguang, the Hall of the Great Hero and the Hall of the East and West Ears were rebuilt. The scale of the temple is magnificent, which is obvious.

Black Dragon Temple is located in the northeast to southwest direction, close to mountains and waters. On the central axis, the first is the mountain gate, which consists of three stone arches. There are three rooms in front of the door. There is also a Xieshanding gatehouse on the gatehouse, and the two-story building is supported by eight large wooden pillars. Next to the gatehouse, an inverted music building (stage) was built. The front and rear buildings are integrated. Le Lou is the top of Europe, with glazed tiles, which is very beautiful and generous. The music building is surrounded by bell and drum towers that cross the top of the mountain. It is small in scale, but small and exquisite with unique style.

The main hall is three rooms wide and two rooms deep, and the top of the mountain is difficult for the Black Dragon King. The left and right ear halls are dedicated to Hebo and the God of Wealth respectively, while other warehouse officials, golden dragons and temple children are in their positions. In addition, there are 22 east-west halls, stands and corridors.

Black Dragon Temple was founded more than 300 years ago. After several repairs, the whole building is rigorous and reasonable, symmetrical and spectacular. Looking up at the overlapping dangerous temples on the cliff, carved beams and painted buildings are simple and elegant, which are pleasing to the eye. Leaning against the temple gallery, I saw the Yellow River surging and the water gurgling, giving qikou town a panoramic view. This mountain, water, city and temple set each other off in the Yellow River valley, so the two provinces are famous far and near. The sound effect of Lok Lou is more peculiar. Without public address equipment, ten thousand people watched the play, and the sound was crisp and even resounded for miles. So "Tao Huang sings, and water sings". Therefore, in the ancient Dragon Boat Festival, people in two provinces and four townships were not afraid of steep mountain roads, and tourists kept coming.

There are four stone monuments in the temple, among which Daoguang Guimao rebuilt the monument of the Black Dragon Temple and wrote a book for Wang Jixian in Yongning. There are two stone couplets embedded in the mountain gate, which are called "Great Articles on the Sound of Rivers", written by Cui Bingwen, a native of Chunchun County, Guimao, Daoguang. Another pair of "Mountains and Rivers Surround Humanity, Wind and Rain Are Sweet and Harmonious" wrote a book for Wang Jixian, the prefect of Yongning. Wang Jixian is not only elegant in writing style, but also profound in calligraphy, and is known as the capital. When North Korea sent messengers to ask for the word "bodybuilding mausoleum smoke", Wang Yiran wrote a book, and the messengers returned with satisfaction. The Qing emperor gave him 4200 taels of silver, and people praised "a word is worth a thousand dollars".

1988 and 1990, with the support of the provincial cultural relics bureau and fund-raising by the masses, the Black Dragon Temple was renovated twice and was well protected.
