Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area is located at the foot of Xiamaling Mountain in Tianya Town, about 23 kilometers away from downtown Sanya, with unique scenery. In ancient times, China people thought the world was a round place, and "Tianya Haijiao" in Chinese means the end of the world, representing a distant place. Therefore, this place was regarded as a place of exile by the emperor, and many officials who made mistakes were exiled here. This once desolate and distant land has now become a beautiful and romantic endorsement. When you come to the Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area, apart from visiting and enjoying the natural and cultural landscapes, I believe everyone will trigger all kinds of associations and feelings, such as the affection of "the moon is now full of the sea, and the end of the world is at this time", the love of "loving you to the end of the world and accompanying you to the end of the world", "However, China holds our friendship and paradise and is still our neighbor," watching the end of the world alone in a tall building ". The combination of natural landscape and humanistic emotion is the unique charm of the ends of the earth. Sanya city is 26 kilometers west along the seashore and reaches the foot of Maling Mountain, which is the "Tianya Haijiao" spectacle. At that time, "Tianya", "Cape", "Nantianzhu" and "Nantian in Hainan" and other huge stones dominated the seashore, making the whole scenic spot picturesque and beautiful. "Southern Tianzhu" is said to have been written by Fan Yunti during Xuantong period in Qing Dynasty. There are various legends about the origin of "Southern Tianzhu". According to legend, a long time ago, two fairies of the Li nationality in Lingshui secretly descended to the earth and stood in the South China Sea to guide local fishermen to go fishing. The Queen Mother was angry and sent Lei Gong Dian Mu to take them back, but they refused. They turned into bimodal stones and were cut into two pieces, one of which fell into the sea near Li 'an and the other flew to the end of the world, becoming today's "Southern Tianzhu". Why did the ancients designate this place as the ends of the earth? For a long time, it has been a difficult historical mystery. In recent years, after many investigations, this historical mystery has been uncovered. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, the first national surveying and mapping activity of "Panorama of the Imperial Capital" was carried out, which was located in Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area at the southern end of Hainan Island, and became the symbol of surveying and mapping the land map of South Pole in China. The imperial officials in charge of surveying and mapping carved four characters on the stone tablet here, saying, "As a symbol, it must be preserved forever". As a result, "the sea judges the south sky" has become the earliest stone carving in the tourist area of Tianya Haijiao. During the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, Cheng Zhe, the magistrate of Yazhou (now Sanya), wrote the word "Tianya" at this moment. 1938, Wang Yi, commander of Qiongya garrison, inscribed the word "Cape" on another boulder. Since then, it has become a world-famous scenic spot. The legendary "Tianya" and "Cape" also have their own origins. It is said that a pair of lovestruck men and women came from two feuding families, and their love was opposed by their own people, so they were forced to flee here, and they both jumped into the sea and turned into two huge stones, always facing each other. Later generations carved the words "Tianya" and "Cape" to commemorate their faithful love. Later, men and women often used "the ends of the earth will always follow" to show their intention. The ends of the earth are not only famous cliff stone carvings, but also historical celebrity sculpture gardens, Li Fen Ningxia Scenic Area, coastal cliff stone carvings, Tianya Road, etc., which are primitive, natural and quaint. There are more than a dozen statues in the Historical Celebrity Sculpture Park to commemorate historical figures who have made outstanding contributions to Hainan's economic and cultural development. In Li Fen Scenic Area, Ningxia, the graceful swaying coconut trees show the unique tropical customs of the island against the bright sunshine, clear sky and sea. In Haitian natural scenic area, the waves have been washed away for years, creating all kinds of Leilei strange stones, standing proudly between the sea and the sky, laughing at the wind and waves and witnessing the changes of the sea; Climbing the stairs and looking into the distance, I saw the big waves with high clouds and light clouds. Walking through the tree-lined "Tianya Road", watching stones, enjoying flowers and listening to streams, all kinds of exotic rocks and trees, mountains and rivers, rivers returning to the sea and other garden landscapes create an ecological atmosphere and cultural artistic conception that people can't forget. The annual Sanya Tianya Haijiao International Wedding Festival will be held in Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area.
