How do Sony notebooks burn CDs? I want to copy a DVD and burn it on a new blank CD. What should I do?
1. Check whether the optical drive has the burning function: install a burning software. Use "NERO": Open the software and select "Other -CD Information". Use "CD Master": Open the software, and select "CD Assistant- View optical drive and disc information". You can see the information of all discs, including the types of discs that support burning.

2. Copy a CD with a burner: You can copy a DVD or CD very simply with NERO burning software. Put the master into the burner, turn on NERO, select the DVD or CD in the upper right corner, and then select "Copy CD". Next, set the drive letter, recording quantity, recording speed and recording of the recorder. After clicking "Burn", the software will first read the contents of the master disk and create a temporary image file on the hard disk. After creation, you will be prompted to take out the master disk, put in a blank CD, and start copying and burning after confirmation. During the burning process, a total of * * * photos will be displayed next to the burning progress bar. What number is it burning now? After the burning is completed, a prompt box will tell you that the burning is complete. If more than one copy is set in the number of copies, the CD will automatically pop up after burning, and you will be prompted to put another blank CD until burning is completed.
