Brief introduction of Yangling district
Yangling District, formerly known as Yangling Special Zone, was established in March 1979, with Yangling Town and Yangling Commune in Wugong County as administrative areas. 1June, 982, merged with Wuquan Commune in Fufeng County to form Yangling District. The establishment of Yangling Town began in the Qing Dynasty, and it was named after Emperor Tailing of the Sui Dynasty. Located in the middle of Guanzhong Plain in Shaanxi Province, it is 82km from the provincial capital Xi in the east and 86km from Baoji in the west, with an area of 134 km2.
