Method 1: deciduous ring
1, buy a flower ring. The wreath line is round and has sharp teeth that can be bent freely to fix the wreath. It is impeccable for making deciduous rings, because you can wrap your sharp teeth with twigs and bouquets or other things you want. This can be bought in a craft shop.
2. Collect fallen leaves. All you have to do is go out and have a look. If you live in an urban area with few trees, go to the local nursery or handicraft shop to find some similar materials: colorful leaves. Choose autumn leaves that can represent your living area. They may be maple leaves, birch leaves or hickory leaves in Huang Cancan, or they may be purple-black rubber leaves.
Evergreen leaves. You can break evergreen branches from fir trees, pine trees or other green plants to give your wreath a playful and lovely feeling.
A bunch of wheat or golden grass. Autumn is the harvest season, and wheat and other wheat-colored plants are the information that tells people that autumn has arrived.
Flowers in autumn. Chrysanthemum is a good choice in many places, especially red, chestnut, orange or yellow, which can symbolize the color of autumn.
Other regional deciduous leaves. Don't confine yourself to the traditional autumn symbol. You can choose plants that are special to you. There are many pink and blue nettles in some places in autumn, and some places are characterized by evergreen plants soaked in rain. If there is anything special for you, or you think it will be chic to put it in a wreath, take it home.
Step 3 design a wreath. Now that you have a series of optional materials, design your garland style quickly. Roll all the materials into a ring and see what your garland will look like. You can refer to the following designs: primitive natural style. Choose leaves, flowers, grass, branches and leaves without special patterns at will, and try to make the color types contrast: for example, consider putting a few strands of grass in front of a bunch of red leaves to make them interesting.
Conventional style. Choose ring-shaped leaves and flowers at will. For example, you can choose three kinds: maple branches, several chrysanthemums and several bunches of wheat.
Make it in the shape of a color wheel. Put all the red leaves together, then orange, then yellow, then purple.
4. Gather the garlands together and start to insert the stems of plants into the garlands from a certain angle. Fix the stem with a rope buckle, and then fix the whole designed shape on the garland rope one by one. Hide the tip under the fallen leaves and compact other fixed places.
If necessary, make more buckles with extra wire or rope, just tie the buckles on the garland rope.
Step 5 add decoration. Tie a ribbon around the wreath, or tie a bow on the wreath and fix it at the bottom of the wreath Add some decorative birds, pine cones, corn husks and other autumn representatives and put them in the fallen leaves.
6. hang a wreath. There may be a hook or ring on the back of the garland rope for hanging. If not, you can make a hook or ring on the back of the wreath with metal wire or thin thread. Hang a wreath on your door or wall.
Method 2: Make a pumpkin gourd wreath.
1. Buy a thick rope with a length of 120 cm, but make sure that the rope is soft enough to bend into a circle and strong enough to bear the weight of pumpkins and gourds.
2. Collect mini pumpkins and gourds. Throughout the autumn, grocery stores or farmers' markets are filled with small orange pumpkins. Pick out light and small pumpkins and gourds to make garlands. Try to find some pumpkins and gourds of different colors, and choose pumpkins and gourds of orange, yellow, brown, green and variegated colors.
If you want a formal wreath, choose pumpkins of the same size and color.
In order to have a more lasting effect, go to a craft store and buy some artificial pumpkins and gourds instead of fresh and perishable plants.
3. Hanging pumpkins and gourds with ropes can make beautiful styles with different shapes, colors and sizes. Pumpkin and gourd can be used alternately and decorated at will. Wear pumpkins. Put the rope around one end of the pumpkin (2.5 cm below the stem) and then pass through the pumpkin vertically and pull it out from the other end.
Wear a gourd. Pass the rope through the widest part of the gourd and come out at the other end.
4. bend the end of the rope into a hook, then connect the ring, make the end into a c shape with your fingers or vice, and then hook it up.
5. Add decorations, tie an autumn ribbon on the garland rope, or add twigs of an evergreen plant as an ornament.
6. hang a wreath. Fix a string or thin thread into a circle, then fix your C-shaped garland rope into a circle and hang the garland on your door or at home.
Method 3: Nut berry Garland
1. Buy a wooden wreath rack. This simple garland rack is made of flat sawdust with a hole in the middle, which can be bought in handicraft shops. If you can't find a wooden wreath rack, buy a plastic or foam one.
2. Collect nuts and berries. If there is a nut tree near your home, you are lucky. Just walk around the block with a paper bag and throw acorns, walnuts, pecans and horse chestnut seeds into it. Try to find nuts with intact shells and minimal damage. Cut red berries or other red, blue and black fruits from plants such as holly. If there are no nut trees nearby, you can use walnuts and pecans without shells bought at the grocery store.
If you want to make the wreath last longer, you can also use fake berries bought from craft stores.
3. Heat the glue gun. Insert the hot glue gun into the wall, then fill it with a melted hot glue stick that can completely fix the handicraft, and heat it in the newspaper until the hot glue becomes paste.
4. Stick nuts on the garland, first around the hole in the middle, then around the first circle, and then stick the second circle until the whole garland is full.
5. Then stick berries on it. Apply a little hot glue to the stem of the berry, insert the stem of the berry into other berries, and let it stand for a few minutes to let the glue solidify. Keep sticking berries until you are satisfied with the garland.
6. hang a wreath. Nut garlands are best for hanging on doors or kitchens, on nails or on the ground, and then enjoying your own autumn mood.
Tips The handicraft shop has a lot of materials for autumn garlands. Buy some simulated leaves, flowers, birds, pine cones and other things to add to your garland.
