In the Huize Park Square in the center (Figure 1), there stands a huge sculpture of "Jiajing Bao Tong" coins, and even the window guardrail of the hotel is made into coins.
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Huize became an economically developed place. Eight governments in ten provinces of China set up special copper offices here. Businessmen from all corners of the country flocked to do business, and there were halls everywhere. Today, there are still more than a dozen well-preserved halls such as Jiangxi Hall and Huguang Hall. In addition to the Dehe Grand Stage in the Summer Palace, the second largest ancient stage in China (Figure 2) is hidden in the Jiangxi Guild Hall in Huize, showing its former prosperity.
Nagu, a thousand-year-old town more than 30 kilometers away from the county seat, has the reputation of "the first stop of Wan Li Beijing Games". Today, there are still historical sites, such as the site of Zhuge Du Liang Road, the ancient copper transportation road and the Shi Dakai garrison of Taiping Army. Overthrow the leader of Yunnan Uprising in Qing Dynasty, Don Yao Ji, 1883, Huize. When Yuan Shikai tried to restore the monarchy, Tang and Cai E held high the banner of uprising to defend their country and made great contributions to overthrowing Yuan. He died young at the age of 44, and his unpretentious former residence is located in an alley in the county.
The Red Army has been to Huize on the Long March. At that time, the Huize Red Army team 1400 people. From here, the Red Army climbed Mount Wumeng at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters. Chairman Mao's poem "Seven Laws of the Long March" was written here. Now Wumeng Mountain has cultivated many terraced fields, which have become beautiful tattoos on the plateau in northeast Yunnan (Figure 3). Alpine meadow is surrounded by pasture, which can not only graze cattle and sheep, but also be one of the tourist attractions.
Huize is also the wintering place for rare birds and black-necked cranes in the world. There are more than 4,000 black-necked cranes in the world, and more than 2,000 of them spend the winter in Huize every year. Because Huize people treat them well, Changhai, Da Qiao and other places have become the hometown of black-necked cranes. In Huize, you can also see the beautiful red land and the majestic first earth dam in Asia. In spring, in Huize, the cherry blossoms on the plateau smile under the bright blue sky, which is fascinating.
