Red Frontier Farm is a multi-ethnic farm with 2,675 households and 4,856 employees, with a total population of 10226, including Manchu, Daur, Mongolian, Hui, Korean and Kazakh. Ethnic minorities account for 20.8% of the total population, of which Manchu has the largest population with 1887, followed by Daur with 323.
Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, 1979- 1984, the whole site has produced a total of 1 17625.00 tons of grain and beans, accounting for 36. 13% of the total output of grain and beans in the past 36 years. In six years, 6 1430 tons of grain beans were turned over, accounting for 43.76% of the grain beans turned over since 1956.
