In the seventh year of Tianshun (1463), Zhu Qizhen, Ming Yingzong ordered a beauty contest for Crown Prince Zhu Jianshen, who was 15 years old, and Wang Zhongying, who was 14 years old in Loushanhou Village, Qingping Township, Xi 'an County, ranked first and was selected, and went north from Nanjing. Zhou Guifei, the queen of money, chose twelve beautiful women as concubines from the selected ladies-in-waiting (the rest are ordinary ladies-in-waiting). Finally, Ming Yingzong chose three of the twelve women, Wang first, Wu second and Bai third, and was elected to the East Palace.
In the first month of the following year, Emperor Yingzong died, and the Crown Prince, who was 16 years old, acceded to the throne. He was known as Ming Xianzong in history, and changed his country name to Chenghua, the respected Qian Empress as Empress Dowager Cixi and his biological mother Zhou Guifei as Empress Dowager. The Empress Dowager of the two palaces proposed a queen for the new owner to ascend to the throne, and ordered the minister to supervise Niu Yu's newspaper selection. Niu Yu said: "The first emperor chose three people, and I think the most wise Wu Canren will become the queen." The two queens looked at the three men again and were satisfied with Wu's strong posture. Qin was ordered to choose a beautiful day, and the Ministry of Rites prepared documents, making Wu the queen and Wang and Bai the "virtuous princesses". As a 35-year-old woman fell out of favor, Wu's status as queen was cancelled. Wan Guifei wanted to be a queen, but the Queen Mother firmly refused, because Wan Guifei was one year older than Zhu Jianshen's mother. It lasted until October, and finally the two queens jointly issued an imperial edict: "After the appointment of the king, there should be no delay." Xian zong could not disobey the orders of the two queens, so he had to do it.
In the first year of Chenghua (1465), Wang Zhongying, at the age of 16, officially took charge of the state affairs. The next year, Wang Zhongying was ordered to return to his hometown, and he got the benefits of the country, deep pools and grey mountains. Wang, the abbot of the country, was promoted from "Tongzhi" who stayed in Nanjing to "Tongzhi, Commander-in-Chief of the Chinese Army" in Beijing, and entered "Right Dutong" in the fourth year of Chenghua (1468).
In the spring of the 23rd year of Chenghua (1487), Wan Guifei died at the age of 58, and in August of the same year, Ming Xianzong succeeded to the throne at the age of 41. 18-year-old Crown Prince acceded to the throne, known as Emperor Xiaozong in history, changed his country name to Hongzhi, and honored the Queen Mother and the late biological mother Ji as the Queen Mother. In August of the eighteenth year of Hongzhi (1505), Xiaozong died, and the Crown Prince acceded to the throne. The historical name was Mingwuzong, and the country name was changed. The Queen Mother was honored as the "Queen Mother". In February of 13th year, the Empress Dowager died at the age of sixty-nine. Wu Zongzun was "filial", so it was called "filial" in history.
