1. model making: according to the design drawings, choose "sculpture mud", "foam", "model board" or other materials to make models.
Generally speaking, the present sculpture models are mainly foam models. Before there were no foam models, sculptures were all made of mud. Facial expressions and close-ups of characters need to be modeled with sculpture mud; Some non-special shapes close to the standard shape, such as cuboid, cube, cylinder, etc. According to the situation, it will be better to use the model board, and the surface of the board is smooth and flat, which is conducive to mold making. )
2. Model refinement: adjust and modify the inappropriate parts of the model and polish them smoothly.
3. Mould making: choose special gypsum, glass fiber reinforced plastic or silica gel for mould making as required. Usually make one or two, and use plaster as a mold. If the quantity is large, use FRP as the mold.
4. Turn over the mould (FRP turn over the mould): Turn over the finished FRP products with the manufactured mould, and then splice them after turning over the mould. At this time, semi-finished FRP products were produced.
5. Post-treatment: Post-treatment of semi-finished FRP products, including grinding, putty scraping, detail assembly, painting, etc.
