Linxian Sanxianshu is a kind of Han rap art in Shanxi Province. According to legend, it was introduced into Linxian County from Liulin during Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty, so it was also called Liulin tune. Linxian Sanxianshu is popular in Luliang County. Later, local artists absorbed some folk tunes, and after a long-term rap practice, they created the Pingdiao, Sipingdiao and Shangchuan tunes. Linxian Sanxianshu aria belongs to the plate cavity structure. When singing, the artist holds the big three strings, ties the castanet to his left leg and plays and sings by himself.
