The "First Micro Film Festival of Central South University" was sponsored by Central South University Committee of the Communist Youth League and undertaken by School of Economics and Business of Central South University. From March 1 to March 25th, 59 teams participated, and 100 students participated. A total of 45 entries were collected and selected by professional judges in the preliminary and final stages. This microfilm festival has attracted wide attention inside and outside the school, and has also received enthusiastic participation from students. During the activity, professional directors and photographers from Dejun Culture Communication Co., Ltd. were invited to give technical training to the contestants, which achieved good results. And the players have gained a lot in this process.

On the evening of March 25th, the awarding ceremony held in the student activity center of our headquarters was successfully concluded, which marked the complete success of this activity. This activity condensed too much effort of our students in Department 2, and also gave us too much experience and growth, and got a lot of exercise. The following is a comprehensive summary of this activity in two parts.

(1) Summary of activities

The idea of this activity began at the end of last semester, and all the members of the department were called to discuss related activities before the holiday. During the winter vacation, I began to conceive activity planning books and learn video production software such as audio and video and AE. Understand some existing micro-movies on the internet, conceive the script and shooting method of the activity propaganda film, draw lessons from the existing process of organizing school-level activities, and ask seniors and sisters who have rich experience in organizing activities.

/kloc-After the school started in February, 2004, the students of the Department of Psychology and the staff of the two departments formally wrote the activity plan, discussed and revised it constantly, and worked out the activity schedule. Students in the Department of Psychology focus on the details of the activity expenses, while students in the Propaganda Department give full play to their strengths and start designing posters, unique registration forms, leaflets and the cover of planning books in advance. Complete the planning book, initial poster and personnel division table around 25th. Submitted to the Standing Committee of the College for deliberation and revision. At the end of February, fill in the application form for school-level activities, submit the planning book and other related materials, and quickly apply for success. It has become a school-level activity sponsored by the Central South University Committee of the Communist Youth League and undertaken by the Economic and Trade College of the Central South University Committee of the Communist Youth League. And complete the preparatory work, and hand over the plan to the student public relations department to entrust it to find the event sponsor. On March 1 day, the activity was publicized throughout the school.

March 1-2: contact the administrator of the primary school student union park and put up posters and banners in the north and south schools.

March 1-5: the school youth league Committee sends a notice to all colleges, and the college youth league Committee sends a notice to all classes.

March 6th: Divide the staff of two departments into three groups, and publicize them in the school headquarters, south campus and railway campus respectively.

March 6-13: Update the registration form. Contact the staff of Dejun Culture Media Co., Ltd. to discuss how to help us train the players. Send a notice to the players, telling them the training time and place.

March 15: Training was conducted at No.3 Teaching 20 1 South School.

March 17- 19: the second round of publicity was conducted. Re-create the introduction and key hand-painted leaflets, and distribute them at the entrance of the South School Library, the seventh canteen, the front of the comprehensive building and the second canteen. Write a short notice on the bulletin boards and blackboards of the three teachers to let the students who come to class know about the activities. Arrange the staff to play the microfilm festival propaganda film in the cinema of South School on Monday.

March 20th: At the time and place designated by the South School Headquarters, the staff brought large-capacity storage devices such as mobile hard disks to collect the contestants' works.

March 20-22: Organize the contestants' works, invite the preliminary judges, formulate scoring rules, score columns, print relevant materials, and update the website. Write an invitation letter and invite the guests to the award party.

On the evening of March 22nd, the initial evaluation was conducted in Liyantang, the school headquarters. And 19 was selected as the finalist.

March 22 -24: Publish the preliminary evaluation results and upload the works to the network. Prepare for the final evaluation, prepare for the party.

On the evening of March 24th, the final evaluation was made in Liyantang, and two first prizes, three second prizes, four third prizes, one excellent prize 10, and the individual awards such as best director, best actor, best actress, best photographer and best editor were selected.

March 25th: Awards Gala (in the previous activities, a lot of preparations were made for the awards gala: Guo, Philharmonic Association and Dance Association were invited to perform programs for the gala, the host was invited, the venue layout and materials were purchased, and the award certificates with unique and exquisite Chinese and English styles were made, printed and sealed, the certificates were packaged, the prizes were packaged, the venue for the gala was applied, and the host was rented.

March 26-29: some finishing work of the activity, writing a summary, making a red list to announce the list of winning works, and sorting out information.

Perception and experience

Let's summarize the experience in the order of activities.

1, this is a good attempt for the two departments to jointly organize activities, which has enhanced the understanding and affection between the departments. Needless to say, after 1 month's joint efforts, everyone has become good friends from strangers or even strangers.

2. The publicity period in the early stage of the activity must be long. For example, the publicity of everyone on the webpage and Weibo must last at least 10 days to be effective, and the content of the webpage must be constantly updated every day within this 10 day to be considered "dynamic".

3. Sponsors should pay attention to two points: First, send the proposal to the public relations department at least 15 days before the event starts, so as to have enough time to find a merchant; Secondly, sponsorship can't rely entirely on the public relations department, but also on outreach, looking for companies that may be interested in the event to take the initiative to contact.

It is necessary to set up a stall for publicity, but the traditional form of stall is not new. If you want to pay attention to the content, you must first attract people from the form.

Among all kinds of publicity products, such as posters, banners, leaflets, web pages and notices issued by schools, the most effective and informative one is actually the leaflets distributed to every student. Many times, people just browse the website or notice issued by the school and can't understand the details of the game. The leaflets sent to each classmate can contact the classmates "most intimately", and the amount of information given is also the largest and most critical. Therefore, the setting of leaflets is particularly important. First, we should introduce them and then highlight the key points.

6. Player training, which is the unsuccessful part of our activities. First of all, the training time and place are not selected correctly. Considering that people in the company have to rest on weekends, we set the time on Friday, but many of our classmates have classes on Friday. It's not right to choose the north school. Most of the contestants are from the south school, and many people can't even find the north school, let alone come all the way to the north school for training. The training effect is also small, and invited professional photographers and directors can only tell you theoretical knowledge in class, which is unattractive and useless in practice. So we can consider such a practical training method-if the company happens to be making a short film, we can let our players visit the studio.

7. For the primary selection and final evaluation of the works, there are only two bad points this time. First, invite all the contestants to the preliminary evaluation site, so that everyone can appreciate each other's works, let everyone see other people's wonderful thinking about their own shortcomings, and let everyone have a positioning for the whole film in their own hearts. Second, students who did not participate in the competition should be invited to watch, which will easily arouse the interest of students who did not participate in the competition. Seeing a funnier performance than others may have buried a dream in their hearts. He may be the first person to sign up for the second microfilm festival.

8. If the Party wants to have an alternative plan, it can go through at least two processes.

9. Be sure to check the facilities of the venue, especially the lighting, impact force and multimedia, two days in advance 1-2 to see if they can be used. If there is any damage, notify the relevant personnel in time and ask them to repair it in advance, so as not to affect the effect of the party.
