Jane Eyre packed her things and prepared to go out. St. John waited for Jane Eyre's definite decision in the form of a note. Jane Eyre set out from Whitcrouse and went to Thornfield by carriage.

Jane Eyre returns to Thornfield Manor, which is in ruins, and learns that the crazy woman set fire to the building and died. Rochester was also injured and disabled, living alone on a farm a few miles away.

2. Chapter 37:

Jane Eyre finally found Mr Roberts. While walking, Jane Eyre told him about her past experience and deliberately talked about St. John, so that Rochester could find confidence in comparison and be sure that true love would not be lost. They finally got married.

3. Chapter 38:

Jane Eyre and Rochester got married quietly. And wrote to swamp hill, and St. John wrote regularly to wish me happiness. Adele has never changed to a better school, so that she can be grateful and repay Jane Eyre when she grows up.

After being treated by an ophthalmologist, Rochester recovered his sight in one eye and had their first son. Diana and Mary both have a perfect marriage. Once a year, they take turns to visit Jane Eyre or Jane Eyre to visit them.

However, St John never married. He devoted his life to missionary work in India.
